Exhibits in the third floor include Neolithic and Protohistoric findings from Picene settlements, an Italic people that lived here before the Roman conquest, and objects belonging to the Senones, an ancient Gallic tribe, such as weapons, bronze and ivory objects, tools and ornaments.<\/span><\/p>\n

Palazzo Ferretti, which houses the museum, is itself worth the visit: the frescos in the Salone delle Feste, Pellegrino Tibaldi’s frieze, the peculiar molded ceilings, the view of the port and the bay of Ancona from the terrace designed by Vanvitelli, these are some of the palace\u2019s features.<\/span>[\/vc_column_text][vc_row_inner][vc_column_inner][mk_padding_divider size=”20″][mk_gallery images=”5152,5148,5154,5158,5160″ style=”style3″ orderby=”post__in”][mk_padding_divider size=”10″][\/vc_column_inner][\/vc_row_inner][vc_row_inner el_class=”lo-visito-perche”][vc_column_inner][vc_column_text css=”.vc_custom_1622799939567{margin-bottom: 0px !important;}”]\n
