Located in the eponymous beach<\/a>, these 500 man-made cavities are a marvelous example of \u201cspontaneous architecture\u201d in harmony with nature.<\/span><\/p>\n

They spend the day at sea, on the shores or inside their caves, between a meal of fresh fish and a game of cards with their fellow fishermen.<\/span><\/p>\n

Catch a glimpse of authenticity in this unique landmark of Ancona, and dive in the clear blue water from thousands of ledges. For those who prefer the sand, there is an artificial beach.<\/span><\/p>\n
