Straddling Umbria and the Marches, this journey retraces the one undertaken by Saint Francis in 1219 when he reached the city of Ancona from Assisi to embark for the Holy Land.
\nAn extraordinary itinerary of over 170 km, mostly on dirt tracks, which passes through four parks and nature reserves and touches five cities of great historical-architectural interest (Assisi, Gualdo Tadino, Fabriano, Osimo and Ancona).

\nIt starts from Ancona, the ancient gateway to the East, and arrives in front of the majestic Basilica of Loreto, seat of the Holy House of Nazareth.

A path that joins two seas, the Adriatic and the Tyrrhenian, two promontories, the Conero and the Argentario and crosses Marche, Umbria, Lazio and Tuscany.
\nIt starts from Ancona and along the 409 km that make it up it is possible to visit Nocera Umbra, Assisi, Gualdo, Todi and Orvieto, up to Lazio and Lake Bracciano. The last stretch is the Maremma one, with final destination in Orbetello.
