Traveling with children?
Children get very excited about new things, they love to explore and through their eyes, we see the world in a different light. That’s why we’ve dedicated an itinerary to them.
This journey begins in a special place: the Museo Tattile Statale Omero (Omero State Tactile Museum), one of the few of its kind in Europe.
The Museum was founded in 1985 by Aldo Grassini and his wife Daniela Bottegoni, travelers, Esperantists, art lovers and blind. They came up with the idea of subverting the “you can look but you can’t touch” museum rule and created a place where your eyes are in fact your hands.
This unusual museum, located in the Mole Vanvitelliana, features 150 art works that children can learn about through touch.
